Competition Format :

.:: RACE WORLD TOUR

- 24 competitors in the racing fleet.
- 2 Categories – Male and Female.
- The competitors must adhere to a formulated set of sailing instructions outlined for this specific event and kiteboarding itself.
- Official Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) have been developed by the world governing body for sailing.
- The duration of the race will range between 30 to 40 minutes.
- There will be three races a day and they shall take place back to back, interspersed with the appropriate breaks.
- The race courses will change everyday.
- The daily scores will be tallied nightly and combined throughout the competition, applying towards the series’ final standings.
- There will be discards for the races according to the following table:

- The competitors with best result’s average will stand on the top of the table.

MALE:
- Top 10 Riders from PKRA Ranking – TOP 2 of APKite Ranking – 2 Wild-Cards.

GROUP A
- Riders Top PKRA #: 1, 4, 5, 6 and 10.
- Riders Top APKite #: 1.
- Wild-Card 1.

GROUP B
- Riders Top PKRA #: 2, 3, 7, 8 and 9.
- Riders Top APKite #: 2.
- Wild-Card 2.

- Round Robin (one leg) within each one of the groups, making a total of 21 heats in each group.
- Each rider will be required to perform at least one high kiteloop and a board-off trick per heat.
- The best 2 riders of each group advance to the semi-finals. The format of this is as such:

SEMIFINAL 1 – 1st of Group A vs. 2nd of Group B
SEMIFINAL 2 – 1st of Group B vs. 2nd of Group A

FINALS:
3rd Place Heat - Loser of Semifinal 1 vs. Loser of Semifinal 2
Final Heat - Winner of Semifinal 1 vs. Winner of Semifinal 2
